In this section of the site we will review a book or two each month.
Books have always played a strong part in my learning whether it be a book on the physchology of golf, technique or as our first book illustrates, just some great motivation!.
Some of you may have heard of Marco Pierre White and some won't. I first remember hearing of him in the mid nineties as he was shooting up through the ranks of culinary greatness in the UK on his way to becoming the first British born chef and the worlds youngest to win 3 Michelin stars.
His story is one of drive, determination and a burning will to succeed and be the best he could be. He attributes a lot of his success to his parents even though his mum died very young and his relationship with his dad was strained to say the least.
A great book, inspiring in many ways and a great insight into how a top kitchen is run. You will especially enjoy this if you enjoy your food and the occasional sample of the grape.
