Out to in?  in to out? We have heard all the jargon and whilst its important its not as important as the face position at impact.
A square to square path is helpful but not always possible as the putts get longer.

Technically what might help?

A correct length putter for a start. If the putter is too long you will stand too straight and too far away and this will laed to a very rounded stroke.
And if you adopt the set up in the face section this will also lead to a straighter stroke.

Drill

Simple on this one but put two clubs on the ground and put through them.
