Pretty obvious but important none the same. You can work out for your self the problems with judging distance if the putter head is working at an in appropriate speed.
Technically what might help?
1.grip pressure being softer will help you feel the putter head and then in turn feel the length of your putts
2.pace the length of your putts and dial it in. wont work early doors but after a while you will feel the difference between a 50 footer and a 65 footer even if it is sub conscious
Drill
Putt to the fringe. Don’t go to a hole just aim for where the fringe meets the green and hit various length putts. On this occasion its about controlling the roll and speed.
